What to do if you see or experience stigma

Change Your Mind is a local movement which is working to eradicate stigma from all parts of society across Northern Ireland.

 

  • Don't be scared to start a conversation with a friend, family member or work colleague about mental health stigma and discrimination
  • When you see stigmatising behaviour, challenge it and share your experiences with us. By sharing positive stories we can inspire others
  • Support us on social media @CYMAntiStigma and www.facebook.com/changeyourmindni/
  • Speak out or write about your experiences to make it easier for others to do so.
  • When you see discrimination taking place, whether in the media or in day to day life, call it out!
  • If you see areas of concern, please let us know what they are so that we can follow it up.
