Everyone has the right to flourish in a college or workplace environment free from stigma - together with SERC we want to tackle mental health stigma in every part of life, so it's important that we reach students and staff across Northern Ireland.

SERC staff and students have also signed up to Inspire and Change Your Minds Inspiration Point Campaign. Our Inspiration Points will provide wellbeing information across all 6 campuses on issues like Exam Stress, Sleep and Making Connections.

SERC are dedicated to providing support to staff and students and have recently taken part in Change Your Mind’s, Time to Talk Day Campaign.

Our partnership is working towards improving people’s attitude and behaviours around mental health, increasing openness about talking about mental health and giving people the tools and resources to seek help.

Noelle Higgins, Senior Account Manager for Inspire Professional Services said, “Inspire work closely with the College to deliver tailored support to both staff and students. Staff have access to the 24 hour helpline, financial and legal advice by telephone, and can avail of face to face counselling throughout our locations in Northern Ireland. Students also have access to the 24 hour helpline, and can attend face to face counselling sessions on site at the college in Bangor, Downpatrick, Lisburn and Newtownards. I am delighted the College has now also signed up to the Change Your Mind Inspiration Point Campaign, and I look forward to developing our partnership to raise awareness and open up the conversation about Mental Health.”
