Our oversight and advisory committee provides us with expert advice, guidance and support to ensure the programme is driven by shared learning, best practice and specialist knowledge. Our LEAP group (Lived Experience Advisory Panel) provide us with experiential knowledge of mental health stigma and its impact and the activities of the campaign are led by their input. Complementary to this, we work with a range of experts to ensure that our programmes are appropriate and relevant for those we wish to reach.
Its members are from a wide range of professional backgrounds and experience and all experts in mental health, stigma, discrimination and recovery.
The Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP)
At the heart of the Change your Mind campaign are individuals who have lived experience of, or are currently living with, mental ill health.
Our LEAP panel is a body of individuals with lived experience of mental ill health who form part of our oversight and advisory committee and will inform all stages of the campaign from research development, messaging, communication vehicles, delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
